Hòa Phát ranks in the Top 10 Strong Brands – Excellent Business 2024.

On October 16, Vietnam Economic Times (VnEconomy) held the announcement and recognition ceremony for Vietnam Strong Brands 2024. Hòa Phát Group was honored to be ranked in the Top 10 Strong Brands – Excellent Business 2024. This marks the 13th consecutive year that Hòa Phát has been included in this prestigious ranking.

The organizers presented the Strong Brand – Excellent Business 2024 award to the representative of Hòa Phát Group.

The Vietnam Strong Brands 2024 program has surveyed, announced, and honored business brands with outstanding achievements in production, business, and trade services, focusing on green growth and sustainable development.

The evaluation criteria focus on the strategies, action programs, and business results that clearly reflect the process of digital transformation, green transformation, and the development of production models geared towards energy savings and the use of clean energy. These criteria also emphasize brand protection, labor-focused policies, and corporate social responsibility.

In the first nine months of 2024, Hòa Phát recorded revenue of over VND 105 trillion (equivalent to more than USD 4 billion), a 23% increase compared to the same period last year (VND 85.431 trillion), achieving 75% of the 2024 target. After-tax profit reached VND 9.21 trillion, a 140% increase compared to the same period last year. The group also contributed VND 10 trillion to the state budget in the first nine months of 2024, surpassing its total contributions for 2023.

Since 2021, Hòa Phát Group has been implementing a deep, streamlined, and smarter digital transformation roadmap, aimed at creating new value in the supply chain and enhancing EBITDA.

Hòa Phát’s integrated steel production complexes are equipped with modern, closed-loop technological solutions. These solutions enable the full recovery of all excess heat and gas generated during coke production, blast furnace iron smelting, and steelmaking to operate power generators, helping to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Hòa Phát’s electricity production reaches billions of kWh per year, ensuring about 90% of the electricity needed for steel production, which saves energy and lowers product costs.

Hòa Phát holds the No. 1 market share in Vietnam for construction steel and steel pipes and ranks among the Top 5 enterprises for coated steel. The group also maintains a leading position in clean eggs and commercial pork in the market. In particular, Hòa Phát’s clean eggs are among the Top 3 largest producers in Vietnam and lead the northern region.

Hòa Phát Group operates in five sectors: Iron and steel – Steel products – Agriculture – Real estate – Household appliances, offering a diverse ecosystem of high-quality products. With its steady and efficient growth, the group’s contributions to the state budget have increased significantly. Hòa Phát continues to be recognized in prestigious rankings such as the largest private enterprise in Vietnam, the Top 50 most efficient listed companies, the Top 3 largest private enterprises contributing to the state budget, Strong Brand, National Brand, and Fortune’s Top 100 largest companies in Southeast Asia.

Aligning its development with the community’s benefits, Hòa Phát has carried out many charitable and social programs over the past nine months. Notable initiatives include supporting localities in building 1,500 houses for disadvantaged families, donating over 300 water purifiers to schools and healthcare facilities nationwide, funding new school constructions, and supporting orphans and children with congenital heart diseases.
