In the morning of February 5th, 2024 in Hai Duong, the intersection connecting provincial road 392 (Binh Giang district, Hai Duong) with Hanoi-Hai Phong expressway was officially opened to traffic. This intersection construction project is sponsored by Hoa Phat Group with a total cost of 321 billion VND.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Pham The Duyet, former Politburo member, former Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Mr. Tran Duc Thang – Member of the Party Central Committee – Secretary of Hai Duong Provincial Party Committee and leaders of the Provincial People’s Committee, Vietnam Road Administration (Ministry of Transport), Infrastructure Development and Financial Investment Corporation Vietnam government (VIDIFI). Representatives of Hoa Phat Group are Mr. Hoang Quang Viet, General Director of Hoa Phat Real Estate Corporation and Mr. Tran Kien Cuong – Director of Hoa Phat Construction and Urban Development Joint Stock Company.
Mr. Trieu The Hung, Chairman of Hai Duong Provincial People’s Committee acknowledged and appreciated the support of Hoa Phat Group in investing in the construction of intersections and said that the province is planning to develop a dynamic industrial zone in the area. discuss Binh Giang and Thanh Mien districts. Therefore, the opening of this expressway intersection is an important and strategic connection point for the province’s driving industrial region, creating a premise for the province’s socio-economic breakthrough and enhancing effective exploitation and use of the Hanoi – Hai Phong expressway route.
The intersection includes the main items of an overpass on the Hanoi – Hai Phong expressway, more than 215 m long, 15.5 m wide; 1 underground sewer 33.2 m long and 3.6 km of path. The total investment to complete the intersection is more than 321 billion VND

Mr. Tran Kien Cuong – Director of Hoa Phat Construction and Urban Development Joint Stock Company said: “After more than 1 year from the date of being granted the investment policy and handing over the premises, the Group has completed construction and hand over and put the above important intersection into operation as committed. This is both a gift to the government and people of Hai Duong province and also the pride of Hoa Phat.”
Previously, on December 24, 2021, Hai Duong Provincial People’s Committee, Hoa Phat Group and VIDIFI signed an agreement to sponsor the investment project to complete the intersection connecting provincial road 392, Binh Giang district. with the Hanoi – Hai Phong expressway.
Accordingly, Hoa Phat Group sponsored the investment and construction of the entire above intersection project. The intersection’s starting point is at km9+080, provincial road 392; The end point connects to the Hanoi – Hai Phong expressway at km39+900. The project scale includes the entire remaining part of the intersection (excluding items VIDIFI has invested in construction).

In Hai Duong, Hoa Phat Group is the investor and operator of the Hoa Phat Iron and Steel Production Complex in Kinh Mon town, with a capacity of 2.5 million tons of construction steel and high quality steel per year.
